Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Despacho?
A despacho is a ceremonial offering of our intentions and prayers to Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the Apus (Mountain Spirits).
Where do we do the Despacho?
The Despacho is held in a special place on our property, a place we call the Crown of the Apu. There you'll have THE BEST VIEW of Mount Veronica.
Do I need to bring anything to the Despacho?
Yes, a good attitude, an openness to learn, and intentions. This is an opportunity to heal, pray, release, and ask for what you need or desire in life.
We do recommend you make sure to put on a lot of sunscreen as there is no shade during the entire Ceremony. If not sunscreen, please can wear clothes that fully cover your body! Bring a hat and/or sunglasses.
Will there be someone to translate?
Yes, we will have a local Shaman who speaks Quechua and Spanish as well as another Shaman or Guide who speaks great English.
